Life on Campus
All Vantage One students begin their university experience in Vancouver, British Columbia. If you’re a student in our Engineering program, you may even have the opportunity to study in Kelowna, BC, too. UBC Vantage College is located within the brand new Orchard Commons complex, and many of your first year classes may be studied here.

UBC Vancouver Campus

Bike along the Stanley Park Seawall or travel the scenic Sea to Sky highway to Whistler to ski and snowboard at the best resort in North America*. UBC Okanagan Campus
In the next 5 years, Kelowna is expected to add nearly 75,000 jobs to the local marketplace, making it one of the fastest growing cities in all of Canada. With nearly 3800 investors, 36 startups and 588 tech business in the region, Kelowna is a very important Canadian tech hub. .
The city offers enviable access to outdoor adventure, vibrant arts and culture, and fresh local food. Seek out a local beach when the sun is shining, then switch to snowboarding or skiing when the first snow falls. Check out a local artist’s studio, or catch an outdoor concert on the lakefront. Locally farmed ingredients are at the heart of any Okanagan meal. Spend the afternoon picking cherries near campus, then kick back with a scoop of freshly churned gelato.

Orchard Commons
Vantage One is located within the new Orchard Commons complex, situated in the heart of UBC’s Vancouver campus. Orchard Commons is open to the whole UBC community, and is characterized by its stunning architecture, sustainable design (earning a LEED Gold certificate), magnificent views, popular dining amenities, innovative classrooms and study facilities, as well as the newest residence spaces for students. The Orchard Commons residence is shared by first year domestic and international students, which allows Vantage students to learn from and integrate with the wider student body.
