Woodward Library, because it is an awesome place that’s more than just quiet but also comfortable and immersive. I can easily dive into my studies. I really like the atmosphere there.

The best advice someone gave me:

Find a major that I like. I was in majoring psychology before, and I found that it was not the best fit for me. I wanted to continue, but my friend advised me that I should follow my interests. Although many people told me that math is difficult, I have enjoyed my math courses so far because I feel accomplished after solving difficult problems.

My favourite place on campus:

I like the Beaty Biodiversity Museum the best. It has a huge blue whale skeleton and many other interesting collections. I used to get my lunch from the café located in the museum because my classes were in a nearby building and it wasn't busy.

Irving K. Barber library because I love the view when I sit there. I’m super productive whenever I am in there.

Favourite place on campus:

Rose Garden. For me, it is the most beautiful place on campus. I like to go there for walks. There are various types of flowers, and there is a snow mountain in the opposite of the Rose Garden. It makes me feel relaxed.

Favorite place on campus:

Irving K. Barber Learning Center. It is a good place for students to study and also could book rooms for group discussions. In addition, it’s also a public place for students to borrow books and enjoy reading in a good environment and atmosphere.

Favorite place on campus:

Asian Center is my favorite place on campus. I like the style of the architecture. Also the library in the center is a quiet place for study. The garden near the center is good choice for a short walk to relax.

Irving K. Barber Learning Centre/IKB is awesome, because it provides a quiet atmosphere and access to computer. Also, it opens until late at night and the Student Union Centre is nearby.

Rose garden; The great view at the Rose Garden always makes me appreciate the beauty of nature, and feeling how lucky I am to study at UBC. This also makes me get more courage to conquer the problems in life.

Favourite place on campus:

The Nest is one of the most energetic spaces on Campus. There are people studying, working, and actively engaging in club activities. The Nest is where people meet, new conversations are had, and where new culture is shared. I get inspired a lot and I hope I inspire others too. Also the food is quite good ☺ That’s why The Nest is my favourite space ☺

The best advice i have received is “to face your fear” which means that I will never know if I do not try.

Favourite place on campus:

The most favourite place on campus are the study lounges at Orchard Commons residence because it’s really comfortable to sit a long time while writing papers, also the view is absolutely amazing.

Rose Garden. I like it during summer time when I can enjoy seeing colorful flowers. It can calm me down and release my pressure.

ICICS (Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive System). Grab a cup of nice coffee, get your poke bowl, and do some programming with your lab partners.
