Jump Start Experience 2015

Jump Start Experience 2015

May 1, 2015

Calling all 2015 Vantage One Students!

We are getting so excited to meet you all very soon! On August 18th, all first year UBC international students will begin Jump Start, a two-week UBC orientation experience. Not only does Jump Start organize lots of fun activities on campus and outside of UBC, students will also learn all about UBC life—classes, student clubs, athletics, housing, and much more. You’ll get to meet advisors and instructors from your faculty and ask them questions about your future academic life at UBC. And of course you’ll be experiencing Jump Start with your new classmates—people who will be very important to you over the next four years.

Jump Start staff will help you move into your residence at UBC upon your arrival. It’s also important to know that for Vantage One students, all your Jumpstart fees are included in your tuition fees. In other words, you don’t need to pay anything extra for Jump Start!

UBC Vantage College will provide a free airport pickup service from YVR airport to the UBC campus for Vantage students on August 18th. More details about this to follow.

Please note, if you have any questions about your UBC experience, please contact us at info@vantagecollege.ubc.ca! We look forward to hearing from you.
