Wednesday July 22nd marked the culmination of the first intake of UBC's Vantage One program. The event celebrated our wide range of students from over 20 countries who participated in our program this year.
We hosted a pinning ceremony to celebrate their achievement at the Life Sciences Building at the UBC Vancouver campus. Students, staff and faculty from the Vantage One program were in attendance, as well as VIP representatives from the UBC Provost Office and Enrolment Services. The students received UBC pins to recognize their academic achievements, and top students received recognition for their impressive Capstone research projects in Arts and Science.
The ceremony culminated with refreshments and socializing in the beautiful Life Sciences atrium. We take great pride in our students’ success: we are proud to share that we have students moving into a wide range of degree specializations including Computer Science, Cognitive Systems, Applied Science in Mechatronics, Land and Food Systems, and many more.
