Where I am from: I am from China!
Interests: I love watching stand-up comedies and listening to music whenever I get a chance

Where I am from: Gorkha, Kathmandu, Nepal
Interests: I love hiking, drawing manga, travelling, and reading both fiction and non-fiction novels.
Student clubs/organizations that I am involved with: I have not joined any students clubs, but I was involved in various leadership roles, like Orientation Leader. I am currently a Vantage Peer Mentor for 2019-2020, which I am very much looking forward to and explore what can I do.
I am most excited about: Getting involved with different extracurricular activities happening on/off campus. I am also excited about meeting new people!

A short message for new Vantage students: Every individual will have their own experience; don’t hold yourself back from doing something different just because somebody said it’s not easy. Go out there and explore; you may never know what you can achieve until you try it.

Where: I’m from China.
Interest: I love travel around and meet new friends. Cook delicious food.
Student club/organization that I am involved with: actually, I am not involved with any school clubs. However, I had a part-time job which is near by my house. I also planning to join in some clubs that I am interest in someday.
I am most excited about: making great food by myself. Also, I like to schedule my time systematically. In my spare time, I like hangout with my friends to play some sports.
Where you can find me on campus: I spend most of my time at Buchanan or IKB library. I also like to go to gym three times a week.

Where I am from: Shenyang, China.
Interests: I love to eat and play card games.
Student clubs/organizations that I am involved with: I am the director of Advertising Department in Chinese Students and Scholarships Association this year. My work is to make short videos/vlogs that can show international students’ lives as well as making posters for the upcoming events.
I am most excited about: helping more international students that share similar background with me and help them feel comfortable here.

Where am I from: Nanjing, China
Interests: Hiking, reading, travelling and thinking about life.
Student clubs/organizations that I’m involved with: UBC Dialogue, UBC CCSEA: China-Canada Student Entrepreneurship Association, Biztech
I am most excited about: I found my interest in NGO recently and look forward to working for organizations related to culture, people and society in the future! Also, Vantage College is quite international with students from different backgrounds which is a perfect community to work for!
Where you can find me on campus: You definitely can find me at Sauder! Also, I work out three to four times a week at ARC, join me if you want!

Interests: Swimming and photography

I am most excited about: I am always excited about meeting new people, so I am excited to meet all new Vantage students and work with them
Where you can find me on campus: I spend most of my time studying at the library so you will most likely find me at the Irving K. Barber learning Centre
A short message to new Vantage students: I cherish my time at the Vantage College a lot because it not only made my transition into a university smoother, but it gave me an opportunity to meet a lot of like-minded individuals (from peers to instructors) and so my message to Vantage students would be “Try making the most of your time here at Vantage College, because it can really exceed your expectations.”

Student clubs/organizations that I involved in: I am currently not in any other clubs or organizations, but I pay a lot of attention to the acapella club and choir—I used to get a place in a singing contest!
I am most excited about: Knowing more cute and friendly people in UBC and studying and working hard with them!
